Privacy Policy

• - Your camera. Access is asked for by your browser, and the picture is never recorded, not here, not anywhere. Revoking access in your browser settings stops everything immediately.
• - The finished strip. It is composed in your browser. Downloading writes a PNG to your device and nowhere else.
• - Backdrops. Choosing one downloads a small model from this site and runs it in your browser to separate you from what is behind you. Your camera is read to draw the picture and for nothing else: no frame is sent anywhere for processing, and no other company is involved.
• - The room code. Held in the page you have open. Closing the tab is the end of it.

• - The live view of each other. It goes straight from your device to theirs, peer to peer, so no server sees it. Setting that link up contacts a Google STUN server, which does nothing but tell your device its own public address. Nothing about the session is sent there.
• - Your IP address, to the other person. A direct connection means each device learns the other’s address, that is how the two of you find each other on the internet. It is true of any video call.
• - The four photos, in transit. Each cut is passed to the other person through Supabase Realtime, which relays it and does not store it. It is held in both browsers for as long as the room is open, and written to no database at either end.
• - Feedback, if you send it. What you type is emailed to us through Resend, who carry the message and nothing else. The form asks for no address, so a report arrives with no way to trace it back or reply to it. Your IP address is used for a minute to stop one machine sending a thousand of them, and is not written down.

• - No accounts. Nothing to sign up for, and so nothing to delete.
• - No analytics or advertising trackers. None run on this site.
• - No selling or sharing. Nothing here is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. There is no profile of you to hand over.
• - No photo storage. Your strips are never written to a database, and nothing is posted anywhere on your behalf.

A room and everything in it disappears 60 minutes after it opens, or as soon as both people close the tab, whichever comes first. A strip you do not download is gone with it. There is no archive, and no way for us to recover one.

• - Revoke the camera. Change it in your browser’s site settings and capture stops at once.
• - Close the tab. That is the delete button. Nothing outlives it.
• - Skip the feedback form. It is optional, and nothing else on the site asks you for anything.

Sulyap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since the site asks for no personal information from anyone, there is nothing collected to delete, but if you believe a child has used it in a way that concerns you, write to us at the address below.
